Travis Snyder LAT, ATC, PTA, CSCS joined MedStar Sports Medicine in 2016. He is currently the Head Athletic Trainer at Blake High School in Montgomery County. He also works as a physical Therapist Assistant at the MedStar NRH Rehabilitation Network Olney clinic. Travis earned a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology/Exercise Science from Indiana University, completed his athletic training clinical requirements at University of Southern Indiana and received his associate’s degree for Physical Therapist Assistant at University of Indianapolis. He has been a licensed PTA and CMT for more than 20 years and a Certified Athletic Trainer for more than 15 years. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Travis has been a member of the US Olympic Sports Medicine Program since 2003. He has participated in a variety of experiences as a USA Sports Medicine team member, including the 2008 Beijing Summer Games, the 2010 IPC Swimming World Championships in the Netherlands and the 2012 Bobsled/Skeleton World Cup Tour in Germany and France. He has spent time at both the Colorado Springs and Lake Placid USOC Training Centers. In addition, Travis has been involved in professional baseball as a director of Medical operations and outpatient physical therapy as a Director of sports medicine. Travis special interest involves working with in tactical athletic training and special operations.
