Megan Bapisteller
Megan Bapisteller, LAT, ATC joined MedStar Sports Medicine in 2012. She is the Head Athletic Trainer at Glen Burnie High School in Anne Arundel County. She is also an athletic trainer for the ASA Chesapeake Charge Men’s NPSL team and Women’s WPSL Soccer teams.
Megan works directly as a physician extender with Primary Care Sport Medicine Physician Dr. Jeffery Mayer at MedStar Harbor Hospital Sports Medicine and Shoulder Center.
Megan earned a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Salisbury University and her Master’s degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Sports Psychology from California University of Pennsylvania.
Megan has a special interest in throwing injuries in baseball, golf medicine and sports psychology. Megan enjoys that fact that no two days as an athletic trainer are the same. The excitement and unknown of what the day could hold is what pulls her in.
